Spending 3 Merry days in Hong Kong

Since many are asking about my solo travel in Hong Kong -

Here is the summary of my itinerary, budget and testimony.

Fast forward September 2017, Ate Faith told me na pupunta daw sya sa Hong Kong for work. Hindi niya ko masasamahan pero  opportunity ko yun para makapag paalam kasi you know- growing up with strict parents, pwede lang umalis when you are with your ate.

Since malapit na mag Christmas, somebody gave me 1,000 pesos. During that time due date na din ng bill ko sa smart (Yah know, Adulting means more bills to pay huhuhu). God challenged me to invest that Php 1,000 to the ministry and so I did.

Matthew 6:33

"Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."

And the miracle happened.

Natuloy din si ate faith pero hindi kami magkasama for my entire stay in Hong Kong 2 hours lang kami nagkita para mag dinner sa Tsim Sha Tsui. Atleast may picture ako na captured ng ibang tao.

My parents allowed me to go to Hong Kong for 3 days. San galing ang funds? Kay Lord pero ginamit niya ang family ko to make my dreams come true.

My Learnings?

1. Keep on dreaming. If will ni Lord, it will happen.

2. Listen to the Lord, seek Him and you will find favor in Him. To be honest, hindi ko deserve ang trip na ito but I believe that the Lord made it happen because I claimed Matthew 6:33.

3. Trust His timing. Jesus knows what's best for you. Just wait and see.

Kahit ano pa ang pangarap mo, unahin mo si Lord and everything will follow.

Trip Hacks

* Plan your visit.

Although it's good to be spontaneous, you can easily manage your time and          maximize your visit when you know where you are going and you have a timeline to follow. Enjoy but be wise.

* Visit all the free museums.

Hongkong has many museums. Almost all of them are free.

* Book online.

Madaming mga discounts and promos when you buy online. Less hassle din because no need to line up. It is also more convenient since most websites suggest that you just save a copy of your ticket on your mobile phone.

* Have your MTR unli-pass card.

I highly recommend that you purchase your unlimited access pass to the MTR when you are travelling for more than 3 days. The MTR pass gives you unlimited rides in their trains for 7days. You don't just save money but also time since you don't have to line up to their booth to buy a card every time you have to ride the train.

* Wear flats or something very comfortable.

I was really torn between sticking to my OOTD or if I will be wearing comfy shoes. Good thing I decided to wear my rubber shoes. Sobrang daming lakad sa Hongkong but I swear, it's worth it.

* Try local food.

Walking in Hongkong is like being in a bancheto. Sobrang daming street food and pwedeng makipag bargain sa market. Give the Night market a visit- it's very similar to Divisoria.
